Scotland

Nicola Sturgeon, first minister for Scotland, has already indicated that the decision by the UK to leave the EU is fundamentally at odds with the Scottish voters’ decision to remain.  She has also suggested that this is a material and significant change from the position as it stood at the time of the recent Scottish Referendum and believes that it is a sufficient basis to cause a further referendum in Scotland.   If this were to occur, it would add further uncertainty to an already uncertain picture.
